As the customer-facing Financial Services team, we build customer loyalty and accelerate growth through strong relationships and deep understanding of our customers’ business needs.

Collaborate to deliver the best customer experience

Playing a leading role in our integrated account team, you will maximize our customers’ value in Akamai services with your program management skills, strategic thinking, technical acumen, pre-sales skills, and leadership. You will successfully move our customers’ key initiatives from concept to implementation, creatively solving problems and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

As an Engagement Manager - Financial Services, you will be responsible for:

• Owning program management and advising customer's to ensure they get value from Akamai platforms
• Being a subject matter expert in DevOps to strategically develop and technically manage the best integration solutions
• Defining an account strategy, establishing key relationships, and building and maintaining a project pipeline
• Leading a cross functional team, developing a culture of excellence to empower and encourage team growth
• Partnering with pre-sales to educate customers on services and solutions to make recommendations for their needs
• Establishing key relationships, building and maintaining a project pipeline and delivering customer targets effectively

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a minimum 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, another related field or its equivalent
• Demonstrate experience in a customer-facing role and good understanding of the consulting process to ensure customer success
• Have experience managing and delivering large technical customer projects successfully
• Have experience in web development technologies, methodologies and languages such as HTTP or DNS
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to present to various stakeholders
• Be a team player with an ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
