Shape the future of the internet

You'll play an integral part of sales lifecycle & support Pre-Sales defining Cloud/Linode solutions as technology specialist. You will guide customers through strategic & technical aspects of Cloud transformation to drive Linode services consumption. You'll also be the thought-leader in cloud computing both outside and within Akamai.

As a Senior Technical Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting Linode opportunities in APJ (Greater China) as a Pre-Sales technology specialist & technical escalation point.
• Keeping direct customers engagement is required.
• Driving customer success and continuous consumption of Linode, as part of the integrated account team.
• Leading solution & product innovation initiatives. Evangelize APJ use cases/technologies & influence product roadmap with product managers.
• Building technical thought-leadership in Cloud Computing/Linode to support overall Akamai business growth.
• Leading Pre-Sales SME enablement groups on Linode and public cloud technology stack.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 8 years+ of relevant experience working in a customer facing technical role with cloud/ software company.
• Demonstrate successful experience in architecting complex IaaS solutions for customers. Possess professional architect level certifications from AWS/GCP.
• Demonstrate in-depth hands-on skills in these domains: cloud computing(IaaS), website/mobile app development, DevSecOps technology stacks & media streaming.
  Cloud computing domain expertise is a must.
• Demonstrate hands-on skills in open source softwares, i.e. Kubernetes, Knative, Kafka, RabbitMQ, ELK stack, Redis, Hive, Spark.
• Demonstrate problem solving skills technically & business via analytical & creative thinking, decision making & teamwork.
• Demonstrate excellent written, verbal and presentation skills including communicating complex technical content to a wide range of audiences, technical and non-technical.
• Communicate fluently in English and Mandarin is a must. Overseas working experience is advantageous.
