The Services Analyst II is a member of the Global Delivery Excellence team within Akamai’s Global Services and Support organization. The role is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts and will be responsible for contributing to data management, creation, implementation, and maintenance of business reporting, as well as troubleshooting.  In addition to the purpose of the role being to provide a service of providing dashboards and analytics to customer-facing roles, there will be an expectation to lead diagnosing issues, contribute to projects and implement solutions on all levels of the organization. 

About the Team 
The Delivery Excellence team is an overlay organization to Akamai’s Global Services and Support organization. They support over 2000 individuals, and over 200 Managers in Professional Services, Support, and Account Management roles through creating and using models, dashboards, tools, metrics, and strategic direction in order to drive operational efficiency, quality, fulfillment, and compliance. Highly driven and collaborative team located in US and India.

Responsibilities 
* Identify and implement high performance business value creation and transformation by delivering analysis in support of GSS’s agenda and aid the Business Operations Management in the tactical execution of Operational initiatives
* Project manage execution of operational initiatives through use of PM best practices and experience.
* Provide Data Intelligence by designing, developing, and building intuitive dashboards by leveraging enterprise reporting systems
* Build organizational knowledge and work with stakeholders to identify business risks via analysis and make recommendations to mitigate their impact and drive continuous improvement
* Drive proactive analysis of the metrics and provide insights of the business to the respective departments/divisions impacted 
* Provide assistance to the team on business strategy, financial performance, annual planning, and on-going operations. Highlight opportunities and provide practical, action-focused recommendations 
Required Education and Experience 
Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements: 
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations, MIS, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, another related field or its equivalent or 
* Minimum 3 years of relevant experience and a Master's degree Finance, Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations, MIS, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or another related field. 

Required Skills 
* 3+ years of experience with Tableau or Informatica
* 2+ Experience developing custom reports using business intelligence reporting tools; CSS and HTML or SQL preferred.

Desired Skills 
* Basic programming experience preferred to enable analysis outside the constraints of Microsoft office; SQL and/or JavaScript or similar language preferred
* Strong written and verbal communication skills – ability to convey technical and high level concepts
* Open collaborator and willing to ask for help and provide assistance to others
* Have an understanding of end to end support of custom reporting solutions that provide critical insight into performance against business objectives.
* Ability to create sound analysis to be used to tactically drive larger organizational initiatives.
* Strong analytical skills; hands-on experience with large amounts of data with ability to use Data Analysis tools like MS Excel or MiniTab.
* Able to work cross-functionally and interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
* Task-oriented drive to investigate and dissect information with a strong focus on quality.
