Our fun and fast-paced new customer acquisition team run full sales cycles across all Akamai product lines. We are high-energy, multitaskers who hunt out new sales leads, and collaborate internally to build opportunities. Successfully generate new business

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will successfully guide new customer sales over the phone and own the full sales cycle. You will be generating new business through outbound calling, email, inbound inquiries and marketing events. Articulating the Akamai value proposition, you will generate interest and enthusiasm for Akamai’s solutions in the market.

As an Inside Sales Representative - New Accounts, you will be responsible for:

  • Becoming a trusted advisor in ensuring customers get the most value out of Akamai platforms
  • Generating new business through to contract negotiations to ensure customer satisfaction and adoption of Akamai technologies
  • Creating and managing a full sales cycle and sales pipeline by articulating Akamai value to prospective customers
  • Building customer relationships and engagement through events and training to encourage business growth
  • Partnering with pre-sales to make recommendations for customers to expand the use of Akamai services and solutions

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent
  • Show proven experience of being persuasive, influential and professional on the phone, social media and email
  • Have experience of meeting daily, weekly and monthly targets, and proven consultative sales skills and quota achievement
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to present to various stakeholders
  • Show some experience with accurate forecasting and pipeline management
