Our Identity and Access Management Engineering team plays an integral part in ensuring the right Akamai individuals access the right resources at the right time. This is a highly skilled group of geographically dispersed professionals that manages authentication, authorization, and privileges within or across system and enterprise boundaries.

As Business Systems Analyst, you will be the primary point of contact for our solutions, you will be collaborating on the improvement and automation of tools that will offer a better user experience. On this role you will be working with a multidisciplinary group of professionals and platforms.

As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Developing an in-depth understanding of applications, the data model, and its mapping to the various business processes
• Working with stakeholders to analyze, prioritize, communicate and validate requirements for changes to systems processes, policies and information systems
• Leading and documenting requirement gathering sessions to understand business needs and problem statements
• Taking ownership for testing your solutions, creating test strategies, and delivering high quality software solutions

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have experience in a Business Systems Analyst role
• Have experience writing business requirements, functional requirements, and test cases
• Be experienced in providing technical solutions for business problems
• Have experience with SDLC (software development life-cycle) and business process
• Show proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools such as Word and Excel, Project, PowerPoint, or G-Suite equivalents
• Demonstrate ability to communicate professionally and collaborate with internal stakeholders
• Be naturally curious and constantly adapting and learning new things
• Be a self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to solving problems
