About the TeamBilling Support Center is the functional bridge between Akamai customers and Akamai Finance. Billing Support Center will deliver end to end Billing Solutions including investigating and responding to customer billing inquiries, tracking customer support engagements and total ownership of invoicing to Akamai's customer.
The team will drive efficiencies and scalability through process improvements. About the JobBilling Specialist will Drive Efficiency, Scalability & Quality of Customer impacting Financial Operations through centralization of cross-functional financial operations across Contract Management Group, Collections, Cash Applications, Business Support Organization. The Billing Specialist will assist customers with their billing inquiries by investigating the root cause of the issue and providing an end to end resolution, while being fully responsible for the same. The Billing Specialist will also be involved in tracking the customer feedback and taking appropriate action based on feedback received.
Responsibilities:
*Be the single point of contact for customer billing queries. Investigate and respond to customer billing questions including those related to contract terms, Taxation, credit memos and invoices
*Collaborate effectively with internal teams to resolve customers billing disputes /queries
* Explain the Akamai contract and billing method to the customer
* Invoice delivery, support to all the new customers – related to Purchase Orders, Billing Information, Spend Tracking, Terms and Conditions etc.
* Identify and communicate trends of issues that require proactive billing support
* Provide Billing Onboarding for all new customers
* Complete upload of customer Invoices on the customer invoicing portals
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent
* 1 - 2 years in Customer facing roles
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent
* 1 - 2 years in Customer facing roles
* Very good Microsoft Excel skills
* Strong analytical skills, with an ability to present analysis clearly
* Strong problem solving skills
* Strong communication skills
* Fluent English
* Very good German or French or Italian language skills

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong analytical skills, with an ability to present analysis clearly
* Strong sense of integrity and accountability
* Knowledge of Siebel / Oracle or other sales force automation systems will be an added advantage
